Business Networking Skills

Most people are terrified of the idea of walking into a room full of potential business prospects and winning them over with an engaging charm. However, in the competitive world of business, the ability to successfully network with others can be vital to gaining new business and surpassing savvy competitors. This course is for people who wish to enhance their ability to network successfully in the business arena.

Based on your specific requirements, realistic and relevant role-play scenarios will demonstrate how to successfully approach strangers and engage them; how to build a relationship with a new business prospect; the do's and don'ts and common faux pas; increasing confidence and combating nerves; using open questions and finding topics of mutual interest; how to talk up your business without over-selling; finding your unique selling points and capitalizing on them; building rapport with others; respect and courtesy; the importance of body language; networking via phone, SMS, social networking and email; and reinforcement mechanisms for lasting results.

This course will be tailor-made to meet your business or personal objectives.

Each participant will be given a Brandon Centre workbook to reiterate the
key messages, points and guidelines.

Staff Management Training

Successful managers are paramount to building a productive and harmonious working environment that achieves results. While senior staff members are often highly educated and qualified individuals, a few vital tips on how to effectively communicate with staff and prevent problems in the workplace, can go a long way to building a more effective collective team that will benefit your business.

Realistic and relevant role-play scenarios tailor-made to your objectives will demonstrate the key elements to building a stronger team; the importance of communication in a harmonious and productive workplace; effective management practices and how to implement them; how to get the most from your employees; how to build team rapport; identifying the most important relationships within your team and how to uphold them; how to nurture staff to share ideas and promote business activity; avoiding the costly event of a high staff turnover; identifying your staffing priorities and facilitating techniques to achieve them; and reinforcement mechanisms for lasting results.
