Progress reports
Evaluation of your child's performance

In order to let you, our parents, understand your child’s learning progress at the Brandon Learning Centre, our teachers have prepared detailed reports.

Progress reports will be released every 2 months. Your child’s progress in presentation skills and participation in group discussions throughout the programme are key areas of evaluation. Based on the needs of our students, we are constantly evaluating our curriculum to develop strengths and address any areas of concern.

It takes time to develop public speaking skills and we believe that your participation will make a great impact on your child’s development. We would also like to invite you to schedule a parent’s meeting with our teachers to discuss your child’s development, please contact on 2575 1761.

評估您孩子的學習進度

為了讓所有家長都了解子女的學習進度，我們的導師已經為每位學員撰寫學習進度報告。

中心的學習進度報告每兩個月發放一次。導師會就您孩子在課堂裡的表現，包括口頭報告技巧及在小組活動中的參與度作評估。我們會根據導師的評價及針對您孩子的需要調整課堂，進一步改善您子女的演說技巧。

Good news on Speech Festival 節誦節比賽佳績

Congratulations to Speech Festival students

The 60th HK Schools Speech Festival has just started and we have already received some good news from our students! Congratulations to Agnes for her 2nd place this year and Hebe for her 3rd place. We feel that all of our students are winners from the moment they step onto the stage. Good luck to our individual and choral students who will participate in the competition in December!

恭喜所有已參加第60屆校際朗誦節的學員！自比賽開始以來，我門已陸續收到學員的喜訊。恭喜Agnes在今年的比賽中再次取得優異的成績，獲得第二名；同時亦恭喜Hebe成功擠身前三名。祝願所有即將參賽的學員都能在比賽展現自己最佳的一面，踏出能言善道的第一步。

New policy:
2 books to borrow at a time

Our library has become very popular and our reservation list has grown in length! Starting from December 2008, students may borrow up to 2 books for a week. You may extend the loan after a week if no one is on the reservation list.

If your child has been holding any of our books for more than a week, please can you return them to us so that other students can benefit? Thank you!

借書每次上限2本

每星期有不少學員都會借閱中心的書藉，為確 保每位學員都能在可知的時間內借閱書藉，由 十二月開始，每位學員每次可借閱２本書，為期一星期。學員須於一星期後續借或歸還。

如果您的孩子持有我們的書藉超過一個星期，可向我們登記歸還或續借，以便下一位同學借閱。

Wall of fame____________________________________________________________________

“Why pandas are black and white?”

Many of us might just give the answer in a few words but our ESB 4 student, Taryn used her extraordinary imagination to create an explanation. We don’t want to give her story away but let’s just say that it involves a white panda and some black ink…!

Taryn’s story and accompanying illustrations are now being displayed on the Brandon Wall of Fame. We make your child famous! Every month, we will select some of our students’ work and display them in the library for everyone to enjoy. If your child has anything that he or she would like to share with us, please encourage him or her to present it during the class, and the next featured student might be your child! 每月我們都會挑選學員優秀的作品張貼於圖書館。如果您的孩子有任何有趣的話題想與我們分享，可子女在課堂裡向老師及同學報告，下一個焦點作品可能就是您孩子的精心傑作！
