the Speech Festivals and School Interivews?

For students who are preparing for speech contests or school interviews, the greatest barrier to success is lack of confidence.

We offer preparation courses for students who have enrolled in the Hong Kong Schools or other Speech Festivals. For students who are preparing for school or university interviews, we offer tailor-made workshop that has proven effective in developing necessary interview techniques that help persuading the interviewers. Be prepared to impress!

Speech Festival Preparation

Are you preparing your child for the coming Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival?

Joining the Speech Festival is a great opportunity for your child to perform in front of an audience. We can help your children to perform their chosen piece fluently and with expression helping them to get the most out of the Festival.

Our qualified native English teachers have all participated in both public performances and Speech Festivals and our course has been designed based on our collective experience.

Topics covered include:

1. Understanding the pieces; vital to being able to convey meaning
2. Practising difficult sounds, reading clearly
3. Using pitch, pace and tone to add variety
4. Performance techniques
5. Projection and breathing techniques
6. Overcoming fears

We have successfully prepared students for the Hong Kong Speech Festivals, MassMutual Jr. Space Camp, and other speech contests organised by different organisations.

School Interviews

Are you preparing to take your child to a school or University interview? An interview is a time for your child to showcase their skills but lack of preparation can stand in the way of their success. We offer lessons that teach students interview techniques and help them to develop areas of common interest with interviewers.

Some of our students are now attending United World College, Harrow, Sedbergh, Wycombe Abbey, Diocesan Girls' School, St. Paul's Co-Ed, St. Stephen's Church etc.
