Oundle School seminar

We will be holding an Oundle School seminar in October at Brandon. Oundle is one of Britain’s leading co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 11–18. It has a worldwide reputation for academic, musical and sporting excellences. Their strong academic leadership has produced a superb set of public examination results, whereby 18 pupils have achieved places at Oxford or Cambridge Universities in 2018 .

The Head of International Admissions, Ms. Caitriona Redding and her team will meet with the parents and answer any questions about the school. They will also share the procedures for admission and visions of the school with parents during the Seminar .

Downside School seminar

Downside School is a co-educational Catholic independent school for children aged 11 to 18 years old. Downside has achieved a further improvement in the last public examinations, 63% of all grades awarded being A* – B in their 2019 A-levels and students accepted offers from a range of leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Durham and Edinburgh University.

During the seminar, Mr. Mark Grinsell, the academic administrator at Downside and an author of revision guide of GCSE Science will talk about their visions and values of the school and the procedures for admission.

We will be holding a seminar with the International Admissions Tutor, Mr. Niall Hamilton of Marlborough College on 27th November, Wednesday. Marlborough College is a co-educational boarding school for students aged 13-18 years old. An extraordinarily broad co-curricular provision and the breadth of learning opportunity encourage Marlburians to challenge themselves and become a well-rounded individual.

This year, Marlburians have achieved impressive public examination results with 78% of entries were awarded A* to B in A-level and Pre-U. Marlburians accepted offers from a range of leading universities including Oxbridges, University of Bristol , The University of Edinburgh and Ivy League.

On Monday,23rd September at 6pm, we will be holding a seminar with the registrar Mr. Charlie Bostock of Uppingham School. One of the UK’s most experienced registrars, Mr Bostock will give Brandon parents an insider’s view of how a successful co-ed, full boarding school really functions.

Uppingham School in Rutland is a British boarding school for boys and girls aged 13 to 18 years old. Brandon has helped prepare students for Uppingham School over the years. Uppingham School’s pupils are encouraged to excel in their curriculum and extra-curricular results. Badminton School Seminar

Charterhouse School Seminar : Value of co-ed education 

Charterhouse School is a boarding school in Godalming, Surrey for students aged 13 to 18 years old. Charterhouse achieved a superb set of public examination results in 2018 with 92% of Cambridge Pre-U examinations taken awarded Distinction or Merit grades. Graduates have achieved their offers for Oxbridge entry as well as to leading international universities such as Bocconi, Columbia, Chicago and NYU.

Charterhouse is primarily a single-sex boys’ school and it is moving to full coeducation from the age of 13 in September, 2021. This is a great opportunity to know more about the concepts of the change. Brandon Learning Centre will be hosting a seminar with Radley College on Tuesday, 24th September – boys and parents will have a chance to hear about this dynamic school, ask questions and learn for themselves about everything Radley has to offer.

The Registrar , Mrs Vanessa Hammond and Senior Master of Radley, Mr. Harry Hammond will share the procedures for admission and visions of the school.
